A lovely privately done collection of 34 sea weed specimens mounted onto 10 leaves (rectos only). All identified in pen underneath. In a commercially available album of printed brown wrappers. Album and specimens (but for one which has fallen loose but is still present) in very good condition.
With an original ode to Sea Weeds tipped in on the first page. Also included is a small folding brochure entitle "Suggestions for Pressing and Mounting Flowers" by Mrs. George Black, F.R.G.S. Black was the second woman elected to the House of Commons of Canada.
